Knee complete - rehabbing in Florida with my sisters.

I had my surgery a little less then 2 weeks ago.  Florida has had some strange weather, to be sure.  It has been cold, very cold for these parts  Tonight, it is suppose to drop into the high 20's.  Can you believe that?  I barely can.

I am feeling pretty darn , however, and a big braggy about how great my leg is doing.  I am not even 2 weeks out, and have achieved what they would have anticipated at 4 or 5 weeks.  I am indeed determined!!!

I am loving being in Florida, Tampa area, with my sisters.  There is a knowing that I need to be here more often and for longer stretchis of time.  I am 70 now and family is critical to my happiness.  Family can be many things.  My friend family.  My herbal family.  My sibling family.

My siblings include 2 sisters who are twins, who are between me and my brother.  We were all born in a 3 year period.  We were a team, a tribe.  If there were no kids in the neighborhood, no matter.  We had each other. 

As we have aged and had our own very different lives we have remained a tight team.  As I watch my friends weave their own family relationships, I have come to understand that I have a special one.  And for that I am extremely grateful.
