News from the Woods.....upcoming knee surgery.

I have been putting this off for a long long time.

When family came to celebrate my 70th birthday, the idea arose that I might do the surgery in Florida. In Florida I have family, the ground is generally flat and the temperature quite inviting for walking at this time of year.

Off I go for a date with the surgeon on the 20th at Tampa General. I look forward to walking without a gimp in my get up and go. I am so grateful for my sisters ability and willingness to assist me on this journey. The sisters three!!!

I am leaving the land in the kind care of Karl, the original owner here, the man who built the center core of this magic little cabin I call home. The dog boys love him and he is the best kitty friend one could ask for. I appreciate him so much. I am always glad when he says "yes!!!" one more time. This will be a long stretch. I plan to be back by mid March.

There are products on the igshelf in the apothecary to take care of your needs. A few items are out of stock as we must wait for the plants to once again bloom in Spring and Summer. Nettles and MegaMineral blend are the two items "not on the shelf" at the moment.

I have also noted an oddity in the last batch of the Bliss Moisturizing Cream. Did you purchase one that did not seem quite right? You were right!!! Let me know with an email and I will replace it. medicinewoodsbotanicals@yahoo.com

The Bliss Kit

These three combined products are great. My visits to the dermatologist to get ugly things removed has gone down to once a year for checkups. He keeps commenting on how beautiful my skin is. The sun damaging and marks are much lighter and show up less and less. I'm "older" where sun damage would be at it's worst and mine isn't. RELEAF for my bursitis

I have bursitis of the medial malleolus—a fluid- filled sac on my ankle that gets very painful. I roll the Releaf on around the lump and then gently rub it onto the bursa and into my skin before I put on a black cotton sock. I do this most days before doing 15000+ steps on a concrete floor at work and then again after I shower at night before I go to bed. The only reason I sometimes skip is because the Releaf has helped so much with the pain and swelling, I forget to put it on! The swelling has decreased by over 50 % and pain is rare.

The Releaf formulation has inflammation-reducing turmeric in it which gives it a pale yellow color. I put on a black cotton sock and wash my hands after so I don’t stain my white sheets at night—which has worked great!
