PT, Recovery, Challenges..........

Two weeks since my knee surgery. I am surpassing all the PT goals, by leaps and bounds. I actually feel like the surgery was weeks ago, but two weeks it is.
I am in Florida with my sisters recouping where it has been unbelievably cold for this state. Record lows into the 20's at night. In Florida!!! For over a month. Crazy!!! I see my doctor on Feb 9th, when I will receive my projected return home date. Not that I could get home if I wanted to. The snowfall there is the most it has ever been in the 20+ years I have lived at MedicineWoods. My assistant cannot get to the apothecary to ship, my caretaker is snowed in.......things feel challenging.
These challenges pale in comparison to the challenges in our society. I have been part what I will call the "resistance" my entire life. Vietnam war, the first Earth Day, women's rights, animal rights and human rights and on and on. It is admittedly frustrating, at this moment in time, to be unable to take a stand, get out and protest etc. It is what it is and nothing lasts forever. So I am very much doing my best and enjoying my time with my sisters, nephews and nieces. Healing. Doing PT faithfully. Everyone who has any experience with knee replacement says "do the PT!" So I am.
When I return to MedicineWoods, I will be finalizing changes to some products that Ihave been working on, like adding Vitamin C to the Radiant Rose. I will be offering two versions of the Head2Toe, a floral scent (the scent of the Bliss and Bath line) and a woodsy version with Palo Santo, Patchouli and Palmarosa essential oils. I cannot wait to share these products with you. As always, my goal is to offer the highest quality products I can provide that are chemical free, cruelty free as well as good for you and safe for our planet.
